Join Us for a Death Café – Dying Matters Week
As part of Dying Matters Week, the Chaplaincy at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and Amica are hosting two Death Café sessions – informal, supportive spaces to talk about how death touches our wellbeing.
Dying Matters Awareness Week, run by Hospice UK, helps people talk more openly about death, dying, and grief – so we can plan ahead and support each other.
The 2025 theme, “The Culture of Dying Matters,” shines a light on how different communities experience end of life, celebrating diverse stories, traditions, and ways of grieving.
Whether you’ve experienced personal loss, been affected by a patient’s death, or are reflecting on your own mortality, this café is a space to share, listen, and connect.
Wednesday 7th May @ 12PM
Thursday 8th May @ 1PM
In the Leicester Royal Infirmary Chapel (Balmoral Building ground floor)
Drop in, have a cuppa, and take a moment to talk.
